Bill was born in New Orleans, LA in February 1936. Bill passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on April 5, 2014. He is preceded in death by his father William H. Winston, Sr., his mother Annette Winston, and his sister Lillian Winston. Bill is survived by his wife of 29 years, Judy, daughters Victoria Morrison (Peter), Dawn Cullo (Louis), grandchildren Jena Scott (Garrett), Jeremy Buno, Jaclyn Buno, Lillian Cullo and Abigail Cullo. Bill served in the Army branch of the Military and after being honorably discharged in 1965 he spent many years as an Engineer in the computer industry and as a consultant for the State of California. In 2000 he retired and opened his own Handyman business. He loved spending time helping other people with their household projects as well as spending time in his backyard with his family and his cats Tinker Bell and Montana.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 11:00am at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 7101 Verner Ave in Sacramento.
