I had the pleasure of being the program director of the preschool that Zoe attended when she was 3 years old. I had since moved on to another school, but when I received news of Zoe’s passing, I immediately remembered this amazing, resilient little girl and how she made a mark on me. She was one of the smallest, quietest, kindest little girls I had ever had the experience of  knowing and caring for. She was sassy, loved fiercely, and was so brave. I remember when she started swim lessons and would cry every Tuesday afternoon when she would have to go to swim after school. After only a few lessons Zoe couldn't wait to go! It’s character development like what I witnessed in Zoe that really makes my career field so amazing. She was so patient when I would have to give her her inhaler as well, and she was so funny! I give all of my sincerest condolences to Liz and Brandon, who themselves are kind and gentle people who love their daughter dearly. They are going through what no parent should have to ever experience. Knowing Zoe was an amazing blessing and I am blessed and honored to have played a part in her short but impactful life.

Zoe and Quincy met in the Spring of 2021 at daycare which began a very special friendship. They constantly wanted to be like each other, dress the same, laugh the same, and be at the same school. 

Zoe in October 2023: "I'm gonna marry Quincy because I think the person you marry should be your best friend." 

We will always cherish the hugs and the silliness you shared with Q.

I had the pleasure of meeting Zoe at Cowan as I volunteered on Wednesdays for the gross motor (PE) class. Her energy was so bright and personality so sassy she refused to be looked over. I remember during our last session of the year she pretended to be a cat and her friends followed suit. She is unforgettable in the best way. I will truly miss seeing her. My deepest condolences to your family.

So many memories and milestones shared together. Bumping our pregnant bellies, becoming parents and watching our girls become best friends brought so much happiness to our world. Zoe’s name was sang almost everyday in our house. My girls counted down the days they were reunited with her. “Zoe is the silliest” was said on repeat. Our weekends, holidays, vacations were filled with her laughter and her adventurous soul. There won’t be a day that goes by that she won’t be on our mind. May we all live like Zoe and ask too many questions, give the best gift, wear mismatched socks, and humm when we eat really good food. 
Auntie Erica, Uncle Mitch, BFF Layla, Rhue, and Milo will miss you forever.

Zoe is a part of our lives.  Anytime we saw her walking around outside Jack, my son, would run out and they would play like two crazy baboons.  We love her and miss her and can’t comprehend not seeing her run out of the house so excited to see Jack or Lily.  She is precious and silly and intelligent and so so sweet.  It was just Zoe and Jack at our house for Jacks birthday last month and they were building a “tiny house” with tape and baseboards and I said let me get you a drill and Zoe said “oh yea yea yea!”  So we went in the kids room and I got her a toy electric screw driver and she’s like “that’s not a real screw driver!”  And I said “well yea, I’m not going to give you a real one ya goof!”  Which made her laugh.  And then her and Jack were chasing each other around the house with swords while Zoe yells “SORCERESS!” So then Jack started yelling SORCERESS! even though he has no idea what it means.  
No one will feel the pain you feel Liz.  My mama heart breaks, and my soul aches for her because we love her, and will feel her loss every day.  I have faith, and hope that she is in heaven and she is perfect and safe, and that you will see your girl again someday.

This was my first time meeting Zoe and it was an amazing day. She was full of joy and I remember her saying how much fun she had. My condolences and prayers to Brandon and your family in this difficult time. Zoe will be forever missed ❤️

For the last 4.5 years we were lucky to make many memories with Zoe. Lots of laughs, so much playing, hugs and celebrations. My kids will forever remember her as a great friend and a “funny and nice girl”. We love you guys and will forever hold your sweet girl in our hearts.

I hadn’t met Zoe yet, and that’s my loss. I could tell from the photos and quotes her amazing parents posted on social media or shared via text that she was a special little girl. I know the pain you’re feeling is beyond most of our understanding, but I hope for a time when your thoughts of Zoe are not ones of sadness at her passing, but gratitude for the time you spent with her. We only had the honor of meeting Zoe once in 2020. It was apparent that she was Liz & Brandon’s world. The Baumann family’s heart is breaking.

I am so sorry to hear of Zoe’s passing. My heart breaks for her family. I remember Zoe on the kindergarten playground always smiling and running around with her friends in her class. She had her own style And had many students playing with her. She will greatly be missed.

When the evening sunlight fades and night time dim it's a glare, although it's sadly gone from sight we know the sun's still there. And when a loved one leaves our side the pain, it can be eased, with the knowledge that they're always close within your memory.  That's why when someone  passes it is not a true goodbye,  for they live on in every smile and every tear you cry, we only need to search our hearts  and there the memories lays, keeping your precious angel Zoe so close with love until the end of day.
