Hello. Sorry we could not make it to the funeral. My mom was Sandra Mienke whom was sister of the late Robert Frederick Mienke whom I was named after ( now Robert Frederick Mann ) With that said we shared somewhat of a common bond in names. I can see the resemblance as well. Please accept our condolences and God Bless. Robert Frederick and Dawn Mann

To the family of Jerry,
Jerry was a co-worker of mine at the hospital. Although I didn't know him well I did have the privilege of having a few private conversations with him over the past few months. We discussed many things that included topics that ranged from work to more global issues of which Jerry was well informed and spoke eloquently. Through our interactions, I felt that Jerry pushed me to think about certain things in a broader perspective and I am very grateful for that. Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss and know that many are praying for your peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Jerry - to say he will be missed is an understatement. He was always there for a laugh, smile, funny story no matter what was going on in the ER. He was an excellent RT - able to do the job with efficiency yet keeping morale up regardless of what we were dealing with. Thank you Jerry for the wonderful times working together.

I worked with Jerry in ER for many years. He was a kind, hard working man as well as a good teacher. He taught me most of what I know about vents. I’ve been out of ER for many years but jerry would always say hi and stop to talk if i saw him throughout the hospital. He was always part of the team. Will miss you buddy and prayers for your family and friends.

Jerry was one of the most intelligent and kind people I have known. I worked with him at SMMC ER and learned so much from him. Jerry was the best respiratory therapist, he knew his job inside and out and he truly cared about his patients. I always enjoyed his many stories of all his adventures in life. He always made us laugh, even on bad days. I was very saddened to hear of his passing and have been praying for his family and my ER friends. Rest in peace Jerry, you were one of the best ❤

Jerry was one of a kind! A man that you liked as soon as you met him. I had the honor of working with Jerry in the ER and he was someone I always looked forward to being on the schedule. You knew he had your and your coworkers back if the time called for it and he was always there to lend a helping hand, no matter the need. He is missed by all who knew him. To know him, was to love him.
