She was born Sept. 29, 1931 in Nitro, the daughter of Howard Hedrick and Christine Moubray. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Roy Mallory, Jr., sister, Betty Leadmon, and brother, Kenneth “Buddy” Moubray.
Phyllis was a lifelong resident of St. Albans. She worked at Community Cleaners, Nitro, St. Albans Cleaners, Junction Mobile Homes, and Sunny Acres Mobile Park.
She is survived by her children, Roy and Linda Mallory, III, of Culloden, Brent Mallory and Trisha, of St. Albans, and Jeannie Gillespie, of St. Albans, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister, Hilda Skeens, of St. Albans, sister in law, Kathleen Moubray, of Nitro, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Phyllis’s life will be 8:00 P.M., Monday, March 19, 2018 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Dunn officiating.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 6 until time of service.
