Dr. Robert "Bob" Harrison

Dr. Robert A. Harrison, born July 14, 1937, departed this life February 6, 2019, at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Sebert A. Harrison, and Norma L. Harrison, his first wife and mother of his sons, Harriet Deanna Barker Harrison. Bob is survived by his wife, June Dulaney Moore Harrison, his two sons, Robert Timothy, his wife Lisa, Daniel Keith, his wife Amanda, and one brother, Dr. Wayne Harrison.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy, a sales clerk for Sears & Roebuck, a route salesman and driver for Pepsi-Cola, and retired from the work force as a Maintenance Foreman for Monsanto Company.

Saved on March 3, 1951, Bob surrendered to preach the gospel in 1959. Since that time, he has served as a bi-vocational pastor in various churches throughout Kanawha, Lincoln, Mason and Putnam counties. Bob and his wife June are members of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Elkview, WV.

The homegoing celebration for Bob will be held at Casdorph and Currey funeral home in St. Albans, WV, on, February 9, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Lee Swor Officiating. Graveside Service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 11, 2019 at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with Military graveside rites to be conducted by St. Albans VFW Post 6418 and American Legion Post 73.

Gathering of family and friends will be from 1 until time of service at the funeral home.
