She worked for Small Arms Ammunition during World War II and met and married her first love, George Higgins. Alberta then worked and retired from McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and liked to read and quilt. She was no stranger to the casino and was a pretty lucky lady—even winning a Jeep once! Her sweet spirit and kindness for her family will be missed.
