Alice Jean Becker, 77, of Maryland Heights, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Louis and Eugenia Ward (nee Pope) Becker; siblings, Harold (Joan) Becker and Raymond (Betty) Becker; and a nephew, Larry Becker. Alice is survived by her nephew, Robert (Karan) Becker; niece, Jan (the late Charlie) Buehrle; great nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Mary Becker.
Alice lived her life in a strong-willed and independent manner. She loved dogs and at one time was proud of having German Shepard show dogs. She retired from Washington University after 35 years as part of Dr. Carlos Perez’s team. It is certain that Star and Twinkle were there to meet her at the Rainbow Bridge.
Alice donated her body to the Washington University School of Medicine so that future medical students could learn. The family would like to thank the staff at Serenity Hospice, St. Andrews of Bridgeton, and Stonebridge of Maryland Heights for years of love and care.
