Dorothy Mae (Fischer) Gardner returned to God’s Heavenly Home on 11 May 2021 and to the love of her life Husband Chris Gardner, ~60 yrs. She was reunited in God’s eternal love of her Sons, Chris Gardner and Philip (Bee) Gardner. The Circle of Seven Sister siblings was completed that day with Veronica (Ed) Richard, Helen (Ray) Copeland, Patricia (Gene) Harpole, Cookie (Don) Kerley, Beverly Parker, and Penny (Joe) Capstick.
Dorothy, aka, Moe Moe, was the loving Mother to Jackie (Gardner) Tate, Grandsons Jim (Scooter) Tate and James Gardner; Granddaughter Amanda (Zach) Milne; Great Grandsons Steven Tate, Kaelin and Rylan Correa, and Jacob Milne; Great Granddaughters Hadley Gardner and Hailey Milne.
Moe Moe will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, as well as, friends and coworkers. She enjoyed a seventy yr work career from age 15 – 85, ending with 15 yrs as an overnight Wal-Mart worker. She drove herself, as her work ethic was beyond awesome measure. She was also a furbaby Mom who loved and spoiled them…from the table!
A special ‘Thank You’ to Heartland Hospice who showed such love, care and professionalism at FV Rehab and Thursday chocolate milk shakes with Daisy.
Dorothy was a devout Catholic and loved her family parish of 50+ years, St. Martin de Porres, Hazelwood, MO. Truly, she was an Angel on earth.
