Edith Irene Godfrey, age 87, of St. Louis, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2014. She was the wife of Ellis R. Godfrey, who preceded her in death. Edith was the beloved mother of Toka Craig and Trena (Pete) Parrie; grandmother of Paul A. Parrie, Michael J. Parrie, Blaine E. (Irene) Parrie, Theron J. Parrie and Tiffany Rene (John) Boyle; great-grandmother of Hanna F. Parrie, Luke A. Parrie, Theron J. Parrie , Julian J. Parrie, Marney A. Boyle, Elly R.Boyle, Dawson D. Boyle, Aeitan Viegas and Shine Viegas.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2013, at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, Mo. 63074. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 7.
