This is one of my last and favorite photos that I took of my parents together. My father loved my mother very much. I believe it was for her birthday or maybe their anniversary. Even though it was hard for him to get out he still wanted to take her to dinner no matter what. He always loved doing things for her. She was the most to him. I look at this picture and it warms my heart knowing that he loved my mother so. I can see it in his eyes and by the smile on his face. I will treasure this photo for the rest of my days.

What can I say? My dad was something else. He was the very first man to love me. The first man to teach me how to catch a ball. And teach me the love and the appreciation for the simple things like a trip to the mountains , looking for rocks in a creek or just a stroll on the beach. He also instilled work ethic and the importance in protecting the ones you love and a strong love for family. His contagious laughter, handsome smile and his feisty spirit will always live on in my heart and in my memory as it will live on through our family for generations to come. I miss my father more than words can say. My heart breaks because I miss him so but my mind knows he's at peace and there is no more pain. And that gives me peace knowing there is no more pain. I love you dad! I wish I could have told you one more time. Watch down over all of us from heaven who love you and miss you dearly! We lost you here on earth but heaven gained an angel!
