Joyce Albin, 78, of Maryland Heights, MO, was born on July 3, 1940 to Bernard Curby Cambron and Emma Alfrieda Cambron (nee: Maschmeier). They have preceded her in death. Joyce passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 in her home.
Joyce was the loving wife of nearly 60 years to Roger E. Albin. She was the devoted mother of Rodney Albin (Anne) and Chris Albin (Lesley); treasured grandmother of Clinton Albin, William Albin, and Andrea Albin; and dear sister of Bernard Cambron (Charlotte), Irene Ebbinghaus (the late Howard) and Alene Schwent (the late Kenneth). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Joyce worked in Human Resources for Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals for over 30 years. She loved to read and has been known to read at least a book a day. She also had a fighting spirit which helped to pull her through so many of life’s obstacles along her journey. Most importantly, Joyce was devoted to her family and enjoyed every moment she had with them. Her presence will truly be missed in all of the lives she has touched.
Memorial donations may be made in Joyce’s name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the American Cancer Society.
