WEBER, LaVerne A. (nee Steffens), 80, Asleep in Jesus on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Beloved wife of the late William H. Weber; loving mother of William G. (Jeannette), John C. (Missy), and Bob (Betty) Weber; dear grandmother of Gregor and Amanda Weber; dear sister-in-law of Marge Steffens; dear sister of the late Melba Massmann, "Bud" Gregor Steffens, and Wilbur "Rink" Steffens; dear cousin, aunt, and friend to many.
Verne loved animals and took great comfort as she watched the birds that she fed and also loved her cats. She was a devout christian. A longtime member of the Lutheran Cgurch of Webster Gardens, she taught Sunday School throughout the years. As much as she loved her family, especially the grandchildren, she also cherished her friends and made sure to send cards and notes.
SERVICES: Visitation 4-8pm Thursday, April 16, 2015 at ALEXANDER-WHITE-MULLEN Funeral Home 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann and also at the Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens 8749 Watson Rd., Webster Groves, MO 63119 from 9am until time of service at 10am on Friday, April 17, 2015. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions suggested to the church or charity of your choice.
