

Luann Miller (nee Appleby), 75, born in Taylorville, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at her residence in St. Louis, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Eleanor T. (nee Coady) Appleby. Luann is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 59 years, Charles Miller; her children, Charley (Carol) Miller, Dan Miller, and Mike (Beth) Miller; grandchildren, Michael S. (Jamie) Miller, Bradley J. (Kelly) Miller, Regan E. Miller, and Reid C. Miller; great grandchildren, Kayley K., Tyler K., Katelyn K., Riley J., and Quynn A. Miller; her siblings, James R. (Bev) Appleby, Nina “Susie” Konneman, and Sally A. (Mike) Miller; nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Ms. Miller was a member of the Overland Christian Church and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired from Monsanto Corp after nearly 20 years of service and enjoyed spending time with her family. She cheered on her boys through all their sporting events and always made sure to feed everyone who came to their home. Luann loved boating, card games, and any event involving family. She was a Meals on Wheels volunteer and a Daycare Board Member. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside and will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to have known her.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
