

FOX, Mildred L. (nee Drummond), 87, on Friday, January 23, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Bross and Doyle Fox; loving mother of Michael, Gary, Marty, and the late Kevin Bross; dear mother-in-law of Lisa Bross; dear sister of Ruth Paulsen, Janice (Marvin) Daberkow, and the late Grace Dose, Jesse Drummond, Hope Gatzmeyer, and Lelah Farrens; dear grandmother of Lisa and Laurie Bross, Sheryl Norton and Pamela Byers, Sabrina (Mike) Barlow, Jennifer Smith, Michaela (Brian) Redd, and Elizabeth Bross; great grandmother of Loralie and Gracie Bross, Luke and Ethan Norton, Alana Byers, Emma Barlow, and Seth Redd; dear cousin, friend to many, and devoted member of St. Louis Family Church.
Born in Lyons, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Elmer of Lyons, Nebraska and Irene (nee Babbitt) Drummond of Bancroft, Nebraska. Born in Lyons, she moved to St. Louis as a young woman where she met and married Arthur in 1947. After Arthur's passing in 1973, she married Doyle in 1981. Upon retirement, they moved to Lake of the Ozarks and became very active in square dancing and relaxing on their boat. They returned to St. Louis in 2002 to be closer to family. Doyle passed away later that year.
Mildred joined Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church in Osage Beach when she and Doyle had moved to the Lake of the Ozarks and upon moving to St. Louis, joined and became very active in St. Louis Family Church. In earlier years, she had worked in marketing research for Opinion Research Corp. in Princeton, N.J., Louis Harris Research, and the National Opinion Research Center of the University of Chicago, traveling extensively. She later worked for the Sporting News in St. Louis as supervisor of book orders. She then worked as a food and HBA products demonstrator in various grocery chains and Walmart stores.
SERVICES: Visitation 11am – 1pm followed by the funeral at 1pm Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at ALEXANDER-WHITE-MULLEN Funeral Home 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO. Interment in Mount Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Service International through St. Louis Family Church.
