One of the fondest memories I have growing up is a family trip I was lucky enough to go on with the Overstreet's back in 1997 or so.  We drove across the country in the family van to Kiawah island making stops in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and Myrtle Beach along the way.  The trip was two weeks long and I never once got "homesick" or was ready for it to end.  I was invited as Mike's friend but I felt like a family member.  Nick treated me like a brother, Wally and Barb treated me like a son - always no matter the circumstance.  I have never been around a more inviting, loving, caring, and accepting family.  I will always cherish the times I spent with the entire Overstreet family.  Wally, Barb, Jon - I am so incredibly sorry that you have to experience an ounce of sadness.  I send my deepest condolences.  You all have always been and will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Only met Nick a short time ago but really enjoyed visiting with him at the showroom. Such a great and genuinely humble man. A very sad loss. My prayers go out to his family.

Our hearts are heavy for the Overstreet family with their loss.  They have extended  their home and hand in so many ways. Helping me as I  made my way through storms across their state, Nick opened 
his house to me. Throughout the years, we would meet up at the auctions, the family would come by our booth to talk, have a good laugh and get a moment of reprieve.  We will always remember Nick's sweet smile.  We send our love and prayers to the Overstreet family.

I had the privilege of getting to live with Nick for close to 2 years with one of his best friends Ben. I was able to witness at during those years and for several years after that he is a great father. It has been especially amazing to see the bond that he has had with Lexi and also his mom, Barb, which is rare in people and will be most missed. I went through a lot with Nick in the last 7 years, and I know how much he meant to Ben. I have been grateful to have been able to have spent many holidays with Nick and his beautiful family who has loved and cared for him and also supported him no matter what the situation may have been. He was brought up in the most loving home imaginable and surrounded by the most loving friends as well. He will be missed. I want to just let Barb, Wally, Jon, Liz, Ryan, and girls to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. If you need anything, let me know, please. Ben and I are both here.
