Found peace on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 79 years. Beloved wife of Kathy (nee O'Brien) for 56 years. Cherished dad of Ken and Mary Whalen. Devoted grandpa of Kylie and Kaden. Dear brother of Maurice and Pat (Tuck) Whalen. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially, Rick. Ken and Phil. Reunited with his beloved daughter: Karen, parents: Bill and Sarah, parents-in-law: Pat and Terry O'Brien, siblings: MaryKay, Peggy and Ben; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
He served our country in the US Army. He was employed at MMSD for 30 years.
Visitation Wednesday, January 2 from 10:00AM-12Noon at ST PAUL'S CHURCH (1720 E Norwich Av, St Francis) with Mass of Christian Burial 12Noon. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
