Reunited with his beloved parents and siblings on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at age 93. Mel served in the US Army during WWII and was a very accomplished musician on both the accordion and organ. He enjoyed belting out the polkas at family gatherings and often entertained his neighbors at parties held at his old apartment complex, Canticle Court.
