

Alice was a devoted mother, beloved sister, cherished friend, and dedicated educator whose kindness, compassion, and incredible patience touched the lives of countless people. She spent many years serving the students and families of Martin County, Florida, as a teacher and later as an assistant principal. She was known for her calm, gentle demeanor and her remarkable ability to make others feel heard, valued, and encouraged. Her unwavering patience was one of her greatest gifts, both in the classroom and in every aspect of her life.
Above all, Alice treasured her family. She will be deeply missed by her son, Steven Ankrom; her daughter, Cheryl Kaleda; and her brothers, Jerry Glass and Joe Glass. Her love, guidance, and steadfast support will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Alice will be remembered for her caring heart, quiet strength, wisdom, and the lasting difference she made in the lives of her family, friends, colleagues, and students. Her legacy of love, kindness, patience, and service will continue to live on through all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of Alice’s life will be announced by the family at a later date.
