Every morning you could gurantee to hear the most joyous noises from Ellie along with a smile to start your day. She was the light of our lives and just pure happiness. Breakfast was her favorite. Eating on the swing porch, listening to worship music and taking in the world around her.
During the day she would accompany her dad and puppy on random errands, doctor’s appointments or to visit mom for lunch.
When she wasn’t being cuddled, she could be found exploring her activity center, pulling down the toys and playing the piano.
Ellie loved music. Anytime she was upset, her parents would play Gratitude by Brandon Lake and she would settle down and fall asleep. At bedtime, she would always listen to the soothing sounds Mozart or piano scores as the soundtrack of her dreams.
Ellie had a very particular nighttime routine. Before bed, her mom would give her a warm (99-100 deg F) bath. And yes, Ellie was that particular about her bath temp. Her mom would serenade Ellie during bath time. Then, during her feed, her mom would read her books until bedtime. Ellie was always put to bed with her daddy’s t-shirt and bunny stuffed animal.
There was not a day that Ellie did not feel loved by all those around her.
