I am so sad to hear about Gene’s passing. Gene was a great person, fun and easy going. I worked with him in the Tampa office. Gene never judge and always was willing to help, he would stop by my desk going to Tracie’s office and always say a joke and just a kind word. 
I’m sending my deepest condolence's to the family, my prayers and thoughts are with you.

We are so sorry for your loss.  Please accept out deepest condolences. I cannot imagine the pain you and the kids are going through right now.  Seeing Gene on the golf cart everyday in the neighborhood picking the kids up will be missed. He always had a smile and a wave. Keeping you all in our prayers and we are here if you need us.

I was incredibly saddened to hear of Gene’s passing. I will always cherish the many wonderful memories we shared, from a trip to Busch Gardens where he carried my son on his shoulders all day without a single complaint(well maybe a couple 🙂).  Memories of our friendship, including  vacations invites or spending time at their home(s) meant the world to me. He was a lifesaver at PHP/CP, rescuing me and others countless times from CSC hiccups.  We had so many talks about the Mets, weather,  music  and our catholic upbringing and those conversations will be missed. 
Gene was a kind and gentle spirit and now is at peace in God’s loving embrace.   My thoughts and prayers are with Tracie, Daniel, Michael, and Joseph during this difficult time.

Gene was such a warrior, I have never seen someone get knocked so many times, and yet get back up and keep fighting.   He had great love for his wife and kids, his face lit up whenever sharing stories of them.   He had a heart of gold and always ready to make you laugh with a story or joke.  He will be deeply missed and I feel blessed to have known him!

I know he regretted. I do know that Gene was one of my favorite people I’ve known.  He was a great man, friend, husband and father.   He was so in love with his wife and sons.  They were his life.  I’m so sorry I can’t be there but I’ll see him in the sky tomorrow because he has truly earned his real wings.  Love you my friend.

I first met Gene in college in 1984.  Small class of aviation majors we all shared a love of flying and a great deal of us remain friends today.  Gene was this yankee from Jersey and I was a country boy from Hickory, NC.  We hit it off immediately.  We both ended up getting jobs working on the line service fueling airplanes.  He taught me how to properly fold my pizza when I eat it, something I still do today.  We shared a love of flying, music and making fun of each other as well another friend Rhett.  I still remember Gene telling me about seeing Led Zeppelin in concert.  I remember we were working during an airshow and we were using a pneumatic cart to of high pressure air to start an F-4 Phantom and as we were underneath this massive and powerful fighter jet the air nozzle was coming loose but we couldn’t let go or it could sling out of control and kill us or damage the jet.  As we struggled to hold the nozzle I remember looking at the high pressure air penetrating his arm and thinking man this is serious shit!  Gene had very strong arms and probably saved us both… I had a blast working with Gene.  Our time together was less as we progressed in our careers but we still kept up.  He went on to attend NCA&T and got his degree in computers and started working hard in that realm but continued his flight ratings.  
I was bummed when he moved to Orlando but then I moved as well as we progressed.  
We still kept up with each other but with no cellphones or internet it was hard.  I did go visit him once in Orlando.  We spent the weekend catching up on our lives.  We drove to the airport to watch planes, drove to Tampa to see Pink Floyd and just hung out drinking and playing music.  Our lives continued and I’m so sorry I never got to see Gene again and meet his family.  Facebook was huge because we could keep up and see each other’s lives though.  I deeply regret not putting forth more effort to see him.  I begged him to come fly the Stearman, something I know he

i was very shocked and saddened to hear of Gene’s passing. My memories go back to the Fahy home in Fords NJ, when i was a freshman at Seton Hall and Gene was a young boy.  I got to come for a home cooked meal on Sundays with our uncle Tommy, escaping dorm food for a day.  Playing with my young cousins and watching the Giants was always on the menu.

I was devastated to hear of Gene’s passing. He has been a friend and a brother to me since I was 15 years old, when I started dating his brother, Tom.   When we were teenagers, we had a love-hate relationship and loved being goofballs.  Lol  I feel blessed that I was able to maintain a relationship with him and his beautiful wife, Tracie.  And I was fortunate to spend time with them & their three boys a couple of years ago when I went to visit them for the weekend in St. John’s.  

I will always remember Gene’s vibrant personality, his sense of humor, his positivity, his faith and his fierce love for Tracie and their boys.  

God has welcomed an angel. We will miss you on this earth, but you will forever be in our hearts.  Love you, Gene.

Tracie, Daniel, Michael, Joseph and Family, we  were all saddened to hear that Gene had passed away.  I was amazed by his attitude and strength as he battled his illness over the past few years.  Many people would have given up, but he kept fighting for life until the very end.

He was a fun loving guy and seemed to find humor in things we talked about during our roadside and over the fence chats.  When we first met, I somehow got in my brain that his name was Pete.  I called him Pete for a few months, before my wife corrected me and told me his name was Gene.  He never once corrected me or gave any indication I was calling him by the wrong name.

He loved his family and also loved his Corvette!  I loved hearing the roar of the engine when he would start it to go somewhere.  We talked about it several times and he even offered to let me take it for a spin.  I told him that I couldn’t afford to fix it if anything happened.  His response was that is what insurance is for!  I never took it for that spin, but enjoyed seeing his joy as he drove around in his Vette!

We will miss Gene in the neighborhood and want the family to know that Grove Bluffers are here for you.  Rest in Peace Gene.

I had the honor and privilege of knowing and working with Gene at CarePlus health plans for many years. He was such a one-of-a-kind, genuine, cool guy. He was always my favorite to work with. I am so sorry that he lost his earthly battle and had to leave his beloved family way too soon! He will never be forgotten. My love and prayers to Tracie and his sons.

We met Gene and Tracie in October of 2009 while being stationed in Florida for the US Navy. They were not only our neighbors but they were our God-given extended family. Our Lanai and backyard met with theirs; so we were very close neighbors. I would be invited to drink coffee on the weekends with them both. It was so nice! Out of habit and respect when I would get to their screen door of there when I I would say "ding dong" "it's your nosy neighbor"! I still smile to this day because from that point on Gene decided my silly nickname would be "ding dong" your nosy neighbor LOL! Definitely a beautiful family. The holidays and memories that we shared with them are priceless and still bring a smile to my face today. Like most good ones you meet in this lifetime; God calls each one home at his will. Thank you God for every moment. May you grant them peace and comfort always father. Gene, until then Brother 🙏.  In Jesus name, Amen 🙏

From the very first time Tracie invited me over snd I got to meet Gene…..  I knew from his first words he was definitely gonna be a funny guy and he was definitely that. We shared some good laughs and definitely we had to talk about music.  
Anytime after that when I’d see Gene and Tracie the laughs always got better. 
You will be missed Gene.
