She was born on July 14, 1938 in the Bronx, NY to David and Gertrude Goldberg.
Grace was a devoted wife and best friend of John for 60 years until he left to meet his savior face to face on May, 6, 2019. She will also be joining her brothers Stanley and Irv as well as her sisters in law Sunny and Shirley.
She will continue to be honored and remembered by her seven children - Brian (Dana), Donna, Danny (Antoinette), John Patrick, Karen (Petri), David (Megan), and Trisha (John), as well as her 14 grandchildren - Alanna (Ed), Eric (Ellie), Brendan, Grant, Garrett, Becca, Jacob, Chase, Grace, Jadyn, Conor, Patrick, Tyler and Kaiden.
Her many nieces and nephews will always be blessed to have had her in their lives.
Her life was defined by family, faith, and an inordinate amount of strength that continues to inspire all who knew her and loved her. The manner in which she lived her life exemplified what it was to be a Christian. A large part of her life was dedicated to the service of others. She volunteered as a lector at mass, a Brownie and Girl Scout leader, a high school CCD teacher, running the church thrift store and with the homeless ministry at St. Joseph.
She dedicated her life to her husband and family, and leaves a legacy of selflessness, courage, devotion and spirituality that will carry on for generations to come. Her life will always be an inspiration to all for how to live a life “well lived”. She will be missed dearly.
Her spirit will live on in all of her family and anyone who had the privilege to know and love her.
