Jeffery Michael Marinelli, devoted husband, son, and father-to-be passed away tragically on September 5th 2024. He is survived by his wife Lindsay Marinelli, son-to-be Brayden Michael Marinelli, mother Sharon Thibeault, siblings Nick Marinelli and Carrie Marinelli, cousins April Dojnia, Bryana Ellis, Ryan Filippone and Kyle Filippone, his aunt Kathy Brooks, his two beloved dogs Gracie and Sadie and many others who will miss him greatly.
Jeff, 44 years old at his time of death, was born in Derby, Connecticut at 2:25pm on September 8th, 1979. As a child, he loved watching movies, playing basketball, running track, had a passion for animals, and he looked up to his mother as his hero. Jeff was a funny, kind and passionate child, and was adored by his friends and his schoolteachers. One of his mother’s favorite stories to tell is when Jeff was given the “Pretty Boy Floyd” award in 5th grade as he lit up his classroom with his big smile, beautiful dark hair and adorable round cheeks.
In 2003, Jeff put himself through college at the University of Southern Maine while also working at Dimillo’s On the Water in Portland, Maine. He spoke of such fond memories during these years, and created strong relationships with many.
In 2008, he began his 16-year professional career at Paychex as a Retirement Sales Representative. Ten years later, he sold his home in Maine and courageously made the move to Denver, Colorado. It was during his time at Paychex in Denver that Jeff met his wife Lindsay while working together selling HR and 401k retirement solutions. Jeff and Lindsay became best friends and quickly fell in love. With so much excitement and nervousness, Jeff proposed to Lindsay in 2020, and they married in 2021 on Pensacola Beach, FL in an intimate setting with their closest family and friends.
A couple years later in 2023, they made the move from Denver to St. Johns, FL with hopes of starting a family. In March 2024, Jeff and Lindsay found out they would be expecting a baby boy, due in December. Jeff’s dream of becoming a father was coming true, and Brayden Michael Marinelli will know all the wonderful things about his dad.
