Laurie Jo Pickett

Laurie Jo Pickett, age 58, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on July 22, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Linda Nell Lee and Leonard Henry Pickett. Laurie graduated from Sandalwood High School, where she was a cheerleader and played volleyball. She made lifelong friends and was known for her beauty and sweet personality. She loved music, the beach and spending time with her family. Laurie never met a stranger and loved to bring life to every party and gathering she attended. Laurie is survived by her loving and devoted children: Brittany Beck (Doug), Kristen Snyder(Mike) and Samantha Porter(Joshua); her mother Linda Lefever(Jim) and siblings Leonard Pickett(Dawn), David Pickett(Yvonne) and Darla Chase(Will); her grandchildren Raylan, Easton, Jaison, Amora, Teegan and Josiah along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. It brings us peace to know that Laurie was made whole and now resting in the loving arms of Jesus. In her final moments she knew that God was with her and we look forward to the day we get to see her beautiful smile again.

A Celebration of Life will be held August 15, 2025 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Christs Church - The Mandarin Room located at 6045 Greenland Road, Jacksonville, FL 32258
