Linda C. Hunter

Linda was born January 13, 1951 in Puckett Mississippi, the daughter of Tolly W Smith and Louie Nell Crain (predeceased). She spent much of her younger years with a southern upbringing on the family farm. Linda went peacefully to be with our Lord on November 30, 2023 in St. Augustine, FL with her loved ones surrounding her.

Linda lived in St. Augustine for over 30 years. She was married to Charles H. Hunter for over 45 years who predeceased her. She worked at Publix for 19 years with never having taken a sick day. Everyone she worked with loved her and respected her. She loved camping with her friends, good food and great cocktails. She spent many years as a member of the Dubol Winnies and later with the Sunshine Adventurers. She was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.

Linda loved life, her husband, sister Vicki DeCamp (Herbert DeCamp spouse) and two nephews Grant Mitchel Terry (Maggie spouse) and Brent William Terry (Berkley spouse). They were her whole world and she loved them dearly.

A Memorial Mass for Linda will be celebrated on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 5950 State Road 16, St. Augustine, FL 32092. The inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church Cemetery, 5950 State Road 16, St. Augustine, FL 32092. A Celebration of Life Service for Linda will take place on the same date, Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Hardage-Giddens St. Johns, 1285 St. Johns Parkway, St. Johns, FL 32259.
