Born in Waycross, Georgia, to Carol A. Heath Ray and Larry T. Kearson, Louise lived a life defined by creativity, compassion, and connection. At a young age, she enjoyed dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading, and formed lifelong friendships while doing so. She graduated from the University of North Florida, where she was a cheerleader and earned a degree in Public Communications with a minor in Photography.
Louise had a true passion for the arts—she was a talented photographer and enjoyed painting with her sons, a lover of music and concerts, and someone who found pure joy in dancing. She loved walking along her favorite stretch of sand at 16th Street Atlantic Beach, where the sea breeze matched her free spirit.
Her love for life, her vibrant personality, and gentle heart made her a bright light to everyone who knew her. Her laughter was contagious, her hugs warm and healing, and her heart open to everyone she met. Louise never judged—she simply loved. She made friends wherever she went, leaving behind a trail of joy and kindness.
In her recent years, Louise discovered a deep calling to help others who were walking through the same challenges she had fought and overcame. Her strength and compassion became a lifeline for many, offering understanding, encouragement, and friendship when it was needed most.
Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother to her sons, Korbin H. Reynolds and Jackson B. Nettles, who were the greatest joys of her life.
Louise is survived by her children, her parents, and her brothers, Jonathan J. Kearson and Alexander D. Kearson (Valyrria B. Kearson). Her kindness, creativity, and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 p.m., at Hardage-Giddens St. Johns Funeral Home, located at 1285 St. Johns Parkway, St. Johns, Florida 32259. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and honor the memory of Louise’s life, spirit, and legacy.
“Her art remains within our hearts — a story gently told.”
