Lyle Marion Dahlenburg II went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2024 after a lengthy illness. Born January 11, 1935 in Urbana, Illinois the only child of Lyle M Dahlenburg I and Clarana Elizabeth Lowery. Lyle graduated from the University of Illinois in 1956 and upon graduation, attained the rank of Captain in the United States Army. Lyle and Carole Ann Cockerill were married for 64 years. He was employed by Deloitte (originally Haskins and Sells) for over 35 years and retired as a partner. Lyle is survived by two daughters, one son, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. An avid golfer, bridge player and world traveler, Lyle enjoyed life to the fullest and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
