Born in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Wilmer E. and Mary Lee Horton, Marg was a true light in the lives of all who knew her. She shared an unbreakable bond with her identical twin, Susan, together from the very beginning, and rarely at arm’s length throughout their lives. Marg’s laughter was contagious, her heart generous, and her greatest joy was the love she poured into her family and friends.
Marg and her husband, Robert “Bob", shared 46 years together as true partners in life. Their marriage was marked by devotion, laughter, and unwavering support. They especially loved traveling, creating memories that took them far from home but always brought them closer together.
Marg was deeply rooted in her community. She was an active member of the Newcomers Club, and enjoyed her time volunteering with the Bartram Trail Friends of the Library, where she was always ready with a smile and a baked good. She also served on the POA of Julington Creek Plantation and was a faithful member of the Church of Eleven22. Marg had a wide circle of friends and especially cherished the many hours spent playing cards, participating in water aerobics, sharing stories, and celebrating life’s simple joys.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Michael Vaughan Horton and Dianne Horton. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert William Mytholar; step-son, Raymond W. (Michelle) Mytholar; her beloved twin sister, Susan (John) Horton Moger; sister, Amy Lynn Horton; brother, H. Gary (Patricia) Horton; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Michael) Horton; grandchildren, Zoe and Mia Mytholar; nieces, Stacey (Michael) Reeves and Lisa Griffiths; nephews, William R.
