My prayers to the families, both personal and professional. I only worked with Megan the last two years at CSE. I am proud to say she wasn’t a stranger to anyone. Her smile was contagious! Her love for the children greatly showed and the professionalism she had with coworkers was impeccable. We passed each other very often in the hallways as we headed to our duties, and now there is a void and empty space left by a magnificent person.  You truly are irreplaceable. The children have felt your absence and to console them is a little challenging as we are hurting too as coworkers. You will be truly and immensely missed, but you can Rest In Heaven and be assured we will see each other one day soon on our Homecoming day. (For this is not our home, we are here just temporary.)

The most vibrant person that lit up every room; Megan always made people feel welcome with a big genuine smile.   When we first met we hung out at the pool and Megan said, "let's meet at the pool next week." The rest was history. We laughed, talked and shared stories, and sometimes we just listened to each other. She introduced me to more of her friends - there are many! Megan brought me into the circle. I met great people and our circle of girlfriends that got together as often as able over the last 10 years. We discovered common ground having  both grown  up in Illinois, only meeting years later when we both moved to Jacksonville. It was meant to be that way.  Megan was the sweetest, most kind, supportive, and thoughtful friend, and I will miss her dearly. 11 years was far too short. Until we meet again my sweet friend.

I had the privilege of knowing Mrs. K during my time subbing at Bayview Elementary for a year, and later again at Crystal Springs as an RBT while my mom teaches special education there. Walking through the doors each morning, it was always comforting to see Mrs. K’s smile as she greeted both staff and students with such warmth and kindness. She made people feel welcomed and cared for every single day. She will truly be missed, but her memory and the impact she had on so many lives will continue to live on.

To Ken and Megan's Family,
Megan was a ray of sunshine. She always had a smile on her face and positivity in her voice.  She was always worried about others and  willing to help at anytime. We shared many happy times together. My summer lunch and pool buddy will be missed. One of my favorite memories is getting a text about our dog Murphy. She knew we were looking and within in a few days Megan and texts and says here he is... Yep  10 years later and our Murphy is still with us.  My family will miss you dearly.  Ken we are there for you....

Anyone that knew Megan knows about her boys, George and Harry-Dog.  Any anyone that lived in our neighborhood also knew the black VW Bug convertible with the boys riding along in the back seat.  Megan would bring the boys over to see Bella quite often.  She always said the boys missed their girlfriend.  Of course, there was always the visits to see and Megan with Bella in tow.  No way could a visit to their house be complete without Bella .  If Bella was not in two, the first question was, "Where is Bella?"   Megan said it wasn't fair to keep the dogs apart.

Thank you for being such a great friend and for always being the cheerful, loving person. you were.  Heaven gained an angel.

Koz has been a friend since high school days and I was fortunate enough to see and meet Meghan when there were in Atlanta. From that moment on I really knew what true love was. I’d come down to Florida every so often and seeing Koz was always good, but Meghan was the real prize. She ALWAYS had a smile on her face and no matter how much I’d ask how they were doing she always said “ how are YOU doing” not even letting me know how she’s been. She always reminded me of my mom, just caring for others with that smile that would light up a room. Im gonna miss seeing her when im down their way.
