

Ralph Howard Trout of Millville, New Jersey passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the age of 86 years. He was born on August 12, 1939, in Tyrone, Pennsylvania to the late Howard T. Trout and Genevieve V. Trout. Raised in Bridgeton, New Jersey, he later moved to Millville to raise his family. He graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1957 and received his Associates degree from Cumberland County College. Before retiring, Ralph owned and operated Trout Printing & Publishing in Millville, New Jersey. He was actively involved in the Millville Elks Lodge #580 as Esquire and was a bingo caller in his earlier years with the lodge. Ralph loved to sing and played the saxophone for the Jersey Raiders Band and the 1950’s-60’s band The Marksmen. Ralph was also a National Square Dance caller for over 50 years. In addition, he was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Lois Trout and his brothers David Trout and Kenneth Trout. He is survived by his daughters Patricia Trout and Judith May (husband Michael); grandchildren Brittany Wiita (husband Matthew) and Natasha Negron; and great-grandson Caleb Gandy.
