Robert Edward Lowe, 70, passed on May 24, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born in Miami, FL to the late Arthur and Susan Lowe. As the youngest of three brothers, he came into this world fists at the ready and mischief on the horizon. He almost never backed down from a fight. As a young man, he worked with his father as a glazer, as dispatch for the fire department, and even drove the “Yes Bananas” delivery truck around Miami for a while. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Tracy and they had nearly 50 years of love and adventures together. He found his true calling as a Firefighter. Possibly because he ran out of other things to fight, but more likely because he was simply born a hero. Lieutenant Robert Lowe served his community as a Firefighter for the City of Hialeah, retiring after as many years of service as they would possibly let him serve.
He loved it. As he loved the people he worked with, and those he got to save. But his greatest accomplishment was raising three girls. He saved us every day, in so many different ways. Often monetarily, sometimes with first aid, and always with a ride somewhere- windows down and music up. He raised his girls to be tough, unique, and fearless in ways that will save them forever.
This one hurts, Dad. But don’t worry, we’ll “walk it off”.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Lowe. He is survived by his loving wife, Tracy Paulson Lowe; daughters Nikki, Kacee (John), Teddi (Jamie), and sweet little Maggie dog. Brother: John Lowe; grand-dogs: Dixie, Stevie, Seamus and Finley; and the nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who laughed with him through the years.
Family will honor him with a memorial service in South Florida at a later date.
