Timothy “Tim” Cebulko, 61, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 after a brave, year long battle with cancer. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, godfather, uncle, cousin and dear friend to many.
He was born on October 31, 1963 to Dan and Shirley Cebulko in Streator, Illinois. He spent his childhood in Peoria, IL. He graduated from Illinois State University and got his MBA at Bradley University. Post graduation, he earned both his CFA and CFP designations. In 2004, he started St. Nicholas Private Asset Management with his partner Allen and has spent the past 21 years building and nurturing this successful venture for his family, friends and clients.
He met his wife Robyn in 1996 in Orlando where they both worked for SunTrust, a month before he transferred to Jacksonville. They married in March 1998 and had four amazing children, Abby (24), Daniel (21), Ella (18) and Molly (14).
Tim was a diehard Chicago sports fan (CUBS, BEARS, Bulls & Blackhawks). He was thrilled to finally see his Cubs win a World Series in 2016 for the first time in 108 years and got to see them win game 2 in person in Cleveland with Daniel! He loved to fish for bass and play his guitars. He will forever be known for his annual Cubs parties on the first game at Wrigley Field each year and his spectacular decorations for Halloween and Christmas. His favorite thing however, by far, was spending time with his family.
We will be forever grateful for the final family vacation we got to spend in the Ozarks in July. Many thanks to Tim’s best friend Jimmy for procuring the upgrade of a lifetime for our family and giving Tim what he described as his whole retirement dream all wrapped up in one week. We will cherish the memories always.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Daniel John Cebulko.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Robyn Cebulko: daughters Abby, Ella and Molly and son Daniel; mother, Shirley; sister, Christine and brothers Dave & Mike; mother and father in law Bob and Zella Boulware; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service for Tim will be held on October 18th, 2025 at 1:00 pm at St. Josephs Historic Church. A reception will immediately follow in the Tally Auditorium in the Cody Center.
