Anne F. Ryan

April 16, 1930December 30, 2018

Ryan, Anne Ferrenbach, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, December 30, 2018.

Loving wife for 60 years of Cornelius F. “Neil” Ryan; Mother of John Ryan (Ann) and Carole McCabe (Mark); grandmother of Margaret (John), Lisa (Jon), Frank (Scottie), Katie (Tony), Neil and Jimmy; and great-grandmother of 9.

Anne was a St. Louis Real Estate Icon with an unparalleled 50 year career.

Anne graduated from Visitation Academy in St. Louis and Georgetown Visitation College in Washington DC where she met her future husband Neil.

In addition to her real estate career she had many other interests. She was an avid tennis player, a golfer, regular supporter of many charity events, Fleur de Lis board member, a founding chairman of Priory's Xanadu Auction, a supporter of her grandchildren's school and sports activities, a seasoned traveler, a daily visitor to the Carmelite Monastery, a friend of everyone she met and a mentor to many.

The two weeks spent in Door County, for many summers, with the entire family was probably her favorite.

Services: A Visitation will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Church of the Annunziata, 9305 Clayton Rd. from 9:30 am until time of Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

My deepest sympathy to all of Anne's family. I will always remember the admiration I had for her outstanding professionalism and quality of success. She was an inspiration to many; I recall and have told the story many times that she gave me my Ira E. Berry lock box key when I came into the industry; her kindness was never forgotten; in those days, we treasured those keys as John and Carol may recall. I hope I see the day that I have nine great-grandchildren. God bless all of you; she will be missed. With sincerity, Mary Gettinger
