Austin, Dorothy L. (nee Wasem), passed away peacefully on January 28, 2018. Beloved husband of over 50 years to the late Lee Austin. Loving mother of Michael (Sara), David (Christine) and Donald (Rebecca). Dear grandmother of Brian, Alison (Austin) Frank, Stephen (Michele), Mark, Douglas and Emma. Dear greatgrandmother of Theodore, Frederick and Theresa. In addition to raising 3 sons, Dorothy was a longtime member of Bethesda Evangelical Church and very active in the Women's Fellowship.
Services: Funeral Friday, February 2, 2018, 11:00 a.m. Bethesda Evangelical Church, 85 Lemay Gardens Dr., St. Louis. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum immediately following. Visitation Thursday, February 1, 2018, 4-8 p.m. Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., and at 10:00 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral.
