Frances B Kroeger

Frances Blackburn Kroeger (2/20/1924 - 1/10/2022), passed away peacefully at age 97 after a magnificent life - spending 33 years with her beloved late husband, Harry William Kroeger. She is preceded by her father and mother, Earl and Josephine Blackburn and her brother, Don Blackburn.

Frances had a keen eye for numbers, playing an active role in her local stock syndicate group. She was an avid tennis player and a long time volunteer for The Missouri Botanical Gardens. To all who knew her, she exuded immense warmth and hospitality. She had a passion for exploring new places, and traveled the globe collecting wonderful stories and souvenirs to share.

She was most adored by her two children: Bill Kroeger (Sue) and Joan Orthwein (Percy). She will be profoundly missed by her family, including her 5 grandchildren: Christopher Kroeger (Kristi Stafford), Anne Kroeger, Katherine Orthwein (Brendan Boyle), Elizabeth Orthwein, and William Chase Orthwein, and her 2 great-grandchildren: Alexandra and Hunter Boyle.
