We will share a meal and beverage while we regale tales of Scottie in our lives. Be thinking of what you want to share, as Scottie touched many lives.
Please feel free to bring a dish or dessert if you desire. Not required.
Scott asked that we not be sad, so put a smile on and embrace the day of memories. Help us raise a toast to this fine man! To give thanks for his good friendship and kind ways..
Scottie, son of the late Kenneth and Patricia Mitchell, is survived by his loving wife, Mel (Melanie) Mitchell, his cherished sister, Kaye Krueger, nephews Lorin Crandall and Jeffrey Krueger, his best friend and partner, Cindy Norman Ewing, who has graciously agreed to keep his legacy going with JSM Painting, and his extended family and friends that reaches around the world. Scottie was known as "Peter Pan" from his years on a cruise ship that took him to Never-Never Land until Mel gave him the anchor to the life he was meant to have with loving family and friends here in St. Louis. Yesterday someone called him "a sweet ginger angel in white painters pants" and truer words were never spoken. He loved his St. Louis Blues and Cardinals but most of all, he was most passionate about his books and writing wonderful prose. We invite you to share stories and pics and will post when the Celebration of his life is finalized. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to assist with his final arrangements, or however you would like to honor him. Please contact Mel at 314-422-3372 or Cindy at 314-993-0465.
