"Scottie" is survived by; daughter Denise Richter; and son Michael (Lori Ervin Sansagraw) Scott; grandson Scott (Sabrina Rose) Richter, grandson Blake Richter, grandson Andrew (Catie) Scott, granddaughter Lauren Scott and great granddaughter Anna Wilson.
"Scottie" was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Wilma Scott (nee Schwent); son-in-law Dr. Ronald Richter; father Jewell Scott and mother Mary Scott; sister Annie Domitrovich; brother Fred Scott; brother Austin Scott and sister Eliza Scott.
Scottie was an all-around sportsman lettering in basketball, track and baseball in high school at Desloge. Following high school he entered the Navy where he continued to play baseball for the Navy. After his honorable discharge "Scottie" came to St. Louis where he worked for National Lead Industries for over 20 years until it closed. Then he went to work Columbian Chemicals for over 17 years until his retirement.
A visitation for "Scottie" will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125. The funeral service will be on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM, in the funeral home. A committal service will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, 1215 Lemay Ferry Rd, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125.
