Our family trips from Texas to St. Louis were always highly anticipated because we were going to The Hill to visit the Marcianos. We couldn't wait to see our cousins and Aunt Joanna and Uncle Joe. There was always something to do and kids to play with. Typically, Chris (my brother) would take off with the "boys" and my sister, Vicki and I would pal up with Sharie and Theresa. Of course our mom Jackie and Aunt Joanna would be hollering for us to get outside or pipe down because the noise level could get pretty high with all those excited kids running around. We paid them no nevermind because THEY just got in the way of OUR fun. I wouldn't trade those memories for the world. Aunt Joanna, as busy as she was, never forgot a birthday either. Every year, even into adulthood, she would send out birthday cards to each of us. How she was able to keep up will always be a mystery to me. I love you my dear Aunt Joanna. My heart hurts for each of my cousins as they learn to live without her physical presence. However, she will always live on in our hearts.

I'm so proud to have known her all my life. Very proud to be able to call her my other mother. She was a very loving and caring lady to all, such a beautiful woman. I'm so glad I got to see her in October. Love and Hugs to all my other family.

Sometimes we forget how much it hurts until we loose a loved one our selves. Joanna Marciano was a wonderful person to me. She welcomed me into the family as did the other family members with no questions ask. My Heart hurts with the loss, however knowing she is home with her Savior and loved one passed makes my heart rejoice. Until we meet again, Hugs

Grandma Marciano was a beautiful soul inside and out. She is my half siblings Grandmother, and although I had only met her a handful of times, she'd always welcome me with open arms. Her home had so much positive energy-- you felt like you could forget your worries as soon as you walked in. The one thing I remembered from her home was the noise level--LOUD. I do not mean this in a bad way. It was loud from laughter, conversation, jokes, and children playing. Grandma Marciano's house was the place to be. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family and friends. I know how much she meant to everyone. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.
