Norma M Faveere, 87, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Norma was born February 3, 1934 in Saint Louis, Missouri to the late Robert H. Crooks and the late Maggie Crooks (nee Biddle).
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 39 years Norman L. Faveere and her sister Alice Syberg (nee Crooks). She is survived by her three children, daughters Karen L. Kamp, Susan L. (Kirk) Caswell and son Mark R. (Laura Reynolds) Faveere in addition to seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Norma was a graduate of Cleveland High School and spoke often of growing up in south Saint Louis. She worked at Southwestern Bell in downtown Saint Louis and later for MICDS in Ladue and was a longtime member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Overland, MO. She loved movies and was particularly fond of musicals and comedies. Norma had countless friends and up until recently would meet regularly for lunch and other social occasions. Besides spending time with her family and friends Norma had a passion for animals, especially Golden Retrievers. In recent years she became an avid fan of the St. Louis Blues and would watch every game on TV. The Blues run to the Stanley Cup gave her so much joy and happiness and after every Blues victory during that playoff season she would call her son and say, “how about them apples”. Norma had an infectious smile and a warm and caring personality. She was the first one to laugh at herself and could brighten a room with her presence.
