It is ten years now since your passing and I rejoice that you are safe in the Lord's arms. I still reminisce about the times I spent with you and your family. They were the best of times. Glad to have known you!

I worked with Rodger about ten years ago at City Lighting.  He was always one of the most quick witted and enjoyable people to work with.  He also seemed to be in a good mood with some outstanding stories to tell.  I haven't seen him in a few years, but I am very saddened to hear about it. He truly was a good person.  R.I.P.

Rodger was a real good friend. I remember leading a Royal Ranger group at New Covenant Fellowship and wrestling with Rodger on the floor at New Covenant and of course he was bigger than me and had me pinned to the floor in short time. I also remember taking a group of boys from church fishing west of STL and Rodger was with us. We had a great time. God be with you, Rodger.

Our condolences to Vi and Roger's brother's and sisters, family & friends.  It's always harder on those left behind especially when it's unexpected.  Tom had good times with Roger in Royal Rangers back in the old days.  He was a good guy.

I wish we would have had more time together. Our kids will always remember how Uncle Rah-Rah played on the floor with them during all the holiday gatherings. You were their big Teddy Bear!

I was greatly saddened to here of the passing of my best friend from childhood. Rodger and I lost touch decades ago, but his honesty, morals,love of family and friendship helped build the character of the man that I am today. With our friends, Ricky Nelson and Jesse Kirby, we built tree houses, dug forts and generaly terrorized the Latty Ave. neighborhood as only ten year old boys could. My condolences to Rodgers family and friends and I hope that your  grief will be assuaged with the knowledge that we will be reunited in heaven.

Dear Rodger,
I know I have said it to you a hundred times and will think this a thousand more, but Thank you so much for being a wonderful friend and giving love and guidance to Matt.  
Monday's and Thursday will never be the same, I guess I am going to have to learn how to cook now.  There is a good chance I will be seeing you sooner rather than later if I attempt this endeavor, you know food poisoning and burning down the house are not good things, but who else will eat out as much as we did?  
Not only did you touch my heart, but you touched that of my family. There is a young man whose misses you so much, along with his friends. You were wonderful in dealing with a bunch of teenagers. You helped to shape and guide those boys in the right direction, I hope you know how much you were appreciated.
I know your family is hurting and my heart goes out to them.  I am sure we only saw 1/100 of what they saw.

I am so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. During the summer of 1972 I think that I grieved more for him than I did for Larry because I knew how close those two had been. I remember Roger as a spontaneously happy kid who loved his family, relished his friendships and who was particularly fond of a pet dachshund named Snoopy. A former neighbor told me many years ago that Roger had become a jeweler and I thought that was great. I hope that the rest of his life was rich and fulfilling. Despite the years gone by I still feel sadness at his passing. My sisters Rita and Lucy have asked me to include their condolences with my own. God bless you all.

To the family of Roger,
Roger as he was to many, a friend of mine,We shared many great times shooting and sitting and telling lies with other great friends. Roger and I went back many years and in our stories we found out we were in the Royal Rangers together although he was younger he was older in spirit than his years. We lost touch after the Dellwood days but he has always had a special place in the hearts of all he knew and was the topic of many of conversations  that began with "what ever happened to.." I hope he achieved all the happiness he deserved for he gave so much to so many for so long.

Rodger was a Good Friend and Good Man, he will be missed by many.  Our condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
