Rosemary Baker Bamberg

Rosemary Baker BAMBERG, age 84, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Thursday March 7, 2019. She was born October 14, 1934 in Springfield, Ohio to Mary (nee Clarke) and John Howard Baker.

Rosemary is survived by her sons Richard Alan (Jayne) Maser, Michael Greg (Shelly) Bamberg and Robert Steven (Christine Lobetto-Bamberg) Bamberg; granddaughter Rachel Eileen Maser, grandson Brandon Bamberg, granddaughter Destiny Hinnen, granddaughter Miranda Irene Schranck, granddaughter Mackenzie Rose Schranck, great granddaughter Raegen Janene Whitley and great grandson Grayson Schubert.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Walter Bamberg; son Stephen Maser; father John Howard Baker and mother Mary Charlotte Baker; sister Nancy Louise Backenstoe and sister Shirley Ann Richter.

Rosemary was a Saint Louis Cardinals fan to the bone. For many years in fact, Rosemary went to Spring Training and, on a few occasions would even follow the Cardinals for some of their road trips up East or out West. Rosemary was an excellent competitive Bridge player, recently achieving the rank of Life Master. She loved playing poker with family and friends. Rosemary had a lifelong love affair with cats. She loved her cats. A visitation for Rosemary will be held Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125. The funeral service will be Monday, March 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM, in the funeral home. The committal service will follow at 12:45 PM in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Dr, Jefferson Barracks, Missouri 63125.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rosemary's memory may be made to Humane Society of Missouri, 1201 Macklind Ave, Saint Louis, Missouri 63110.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Bamberg family.
