Winifred Loreen Smith Tiemann

Tiemann, Loreen W. Age 86. Date of Death, April 10, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Billy D. Langley and Frederick A. Tiemann; loving mother and step-mother of Darrell (Linda) Langley, David (Diana) Langley, Fred (Carol) Tiemann, Mike (Bev) Tiemann and the late Donald Langley; Grandmother of Lisa (Mike) Wingo, Mark (Karen) Langley, Laura Beth (Rich) Chartres, Matt (Deborah) Langley, Patrick (Jackie) Tiemann, Jeannie (Aaron) Chorowicz, Tena (Dean) Overacker, Aaron Tiemann and the late Scott Langley, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many.

Born on November 16, 1924 in Cardwell, Missouri. Loreen graduated from Cardwell High School, later receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Southern Illinois University. Her teaching career was spent at Central School in Ferguson. She was a lifelong Southern Baptist singing in the church choir, a proud Democrat, she enjoyed writing poetry and watching Cardinals baseball.

Visitation will be at White-Mullen Mortuary, 118 N. Florissant Rd., Ferguson, MO., on Saturday April 16, 2011 from 9:00 am until time of Service at 10:00 am. Interment will be private at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home, 11300 St. Charles Rock Rd., Bridgeton, MO. 63044, and/or St. Jude’s Hospital for Children.
