NEW IBERIA – Mae Elizabeth Sherwood Broussard passed away at 8:25 AM on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Iberia Manner North Nursing Home. She was a native of Granite City, Illinois and a resident of St. Martinville. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date.
Mrs. Broussard enjoyed playing cards and picking pecans. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Harold Broussard, Jr. of St. Martinville, Michael Broussard and wife Sharon of Arnaudville; daughter-in-law, Rebbecca Landry of New Iberia; grandchildren, Hunter Broussard, Heather Broussard, Haley Broussard, Dustin Broussard, Garrett Broussard, Jonah Broussard and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Broussard, Sr. and parents John Sherwood and Pearl Bailey Sherwood.
