Mickey was born December 15, 1986 in Lafayette to Mickey Anthony LeBlanc, Sr. and Tina Bonin and was one of four children born to that union. Those that knew T-Mickey, knew of his faith, love of family and friends. As a young boy, he was taught his prayers and prayed the rosary faithfully. His father recalls when Mickey was 3 years old, he was at a funeral and Mickey, Jr. went to the casket to pray the rosary with the family and they let him take part.
Mickey prided himself on the fact that he never forgot anyone. He was one of a kind in that he always checked up on his family and friends. A text message, a call, or a personal visit was all Mickey needed to make his day and that of the person he was visiting. T-Mickey also enjoyed playing pool and listening to music….any kind and any time. His family spoke of how much he loved music and dancing. It was said that he was pretty much was the life of the party when he was there.
There are people in this world who live for material possessions and some who live for themselves, but T-Mickey lived for his faith, family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness, fun loving spirit and welcoming smile. Rest well Mickey as we rejoice in your heavenly reward of eternal peace and rest. We will miss you but know that we have the promise of one day reuniting with you. We love you.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Bella Martel and Dre LeBlanc; his father, Mickey A. LeBlanc, Sr.; his mother, Tina Bonin; his brothers and sister, Brody LeBlanc (Angelle), Demi LeBlanc (Michael) and Jesse LeBlanc; nieces and nephew, Renlie Smith, Haistan Granger and Madilyn LeBlanc; and his paternal grandmother, Hazel LeBlanc.
