NEW IBERIA – Memorial Services will be conducted for Mrs. Harold Duplantis, Jr., the former Tammy Belaire, age 49, at 11:00 am Monday, November 5, 2012 at Faith Cathedral World Outreach Center with Bishop Drew Rousse and Sr. pastor Wanda Rousse officiating. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:00 am until service time. Interment will be held privately at a later date.

A native of Lafayette and resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Duplantis passed away at 12:16 am on Thursday November 1, 2012 at her residence.

Tammy was a wonderful and kind hearted person who was devoted to her family. She was a very hard worker and had been employed at Cajun Chef in St. Martinville and was also a member of Faith Cathedral World Outreach Center. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Harold Duplantis, III and Matthew Duplantis both of St. Martinville; her mother, Shirley Champagne Wright of St. Martinville; one brother, Calvin Belaire of St. Martinville and one sister, Linda B. Begnaud of Breaux Bridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Duplantis, Jr.; father, Joseph Belaire; step father, Royce Wright and one sister, Arlene B. Duhon.
