Anita David, 85, of Milford, formerly of Peabody, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, on January 27, 1941, to Max and Sylvia Gleich. For 64 years, she was the beloved wife of Sidney David. Together they enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Arizona, and, above all, sharing time with their family. Anita also loved watching tennis and, in her younger years, playing it. She was an avid reader and found joy in painting with friends.
Anita was devoted to her family: her late brother Charles and late sister-in-law Arlene of Parkland, FL, and their daughter Mindy, her son Steven and daughter in law Dara of Waterford, MI, and their children Hunter and Kennedy; her son Stuart and daughter in law Sandy of Boston and their children Jonathan and Elliot; and her daughter Faith and son in law Michael of Holliston and their children Emily and Anna. She cherished time spent all together, with each family, and in one on one moments with her grandchildren.
Anita and Sidney raised their family in Peabody, Massachusetts, where they lived for 52 years and were longtime members of Temple Ner Tamid. She was deeply loved by her family and many friends.
Funeral services, interment, and shiva will be held privately.
