Annabelle Swartz

PEABODY – Annabelle (Bacherman) Swartz, of Peabody & Lake Worth, FL, entered into rest June 22, 2025, at the age of 101. Beloved wife of the late Harold D. Swartz. Devoted mother of Suzanne Swartz with whom she resided and the late Norman Swartz. Cherished grandmother of Harolyn and her husband Sam, Beth and her husband Doug and Steven and his wife Jenny. Loving sister of the late Marion Marcus, Evelyn Ponn and Edward Bacherman. Dear daughter of the late Harry and Jenny (Flomen) Bacherman.

Annabelle grew up in Peabody, graduated from Peabody High School and raised her family in Peabody. She was a longtime employee of the former Jordan Marsh and Macy’s Department Stores. Annabelle was one of the oldest members of Temple Ner Tamid. She loved playing Mah-Jongg and knitting Afghans as engagement gifts. Annabelle cherished her time spent with family and friends, but most especially with her four great grandchildren, Connor, Sierra, “Wolfie” and Elainer.

A funeral service for Annabelle will be held in the chapel at the Maple Hill Cemetery, 98 Canterbury Drive, Peabody on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Memorial Observance at her late residence following the graveside on Wednesday, on Thursday 1 PM- 8 PM and on Friday 12-4 PM.
