Annette Green

Annette (Shore) Green– of Peabody, formerly of Lynn, entered into rest Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Green. Devoted mother of Gary Green and his wife Patti of Chelmsford and Brenda Green of Peabody. Cherished grandmother of Matthew Green and his fiancée Rebecca Landrith of Marlborough. Loving sister of Ethel Somers of North Andover and the late Lester Shore. Adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. Dear daughter of the late Rubin and Ida (Kopnick) Shore.

Annette grew up in Lynn, graduated from Lynn Classical High School and raised her family in Peabody. She was a skilled bookkeeper on the north shore for many years previously working at the Johansen and Graves Company until her retirement. During her early years while living Peabody, Annette and her family were members of Temple Ner Tamid. More recently, she was a dedicated member of Congregation Sons of Israel. Annette had numerous hobbies over the years, but her true gift was being an expert Mahjong player. During her younger years, she enjoyed playing many times a week with friends and traveling to play in tournaments throughout the year. Annette was also a musical theater enthusiast.

Her graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery, 98 Canterbury Drive, Peabody on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Annette’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
