Bernard “Bernie” Stone, 82, of Lynn, Massachusetts passed away on January 31, 2022. Bernie was predeceased by his beloved parents Milton and Gertrude Stone, and dear siblings Charlotte Rivetz, Marilyn Freedman, Gerald Stone, Sheldon Stone and Eleanor Glou. He is survived by his cherished sister Irene Gilberg. He is also survived by son Eric Stone, step-daughters Deborah DeMaria and Samantha Daly and grandson Quentin Stone. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and caring friends.
Bernie was a highly decorated army sergeant in Vietnam, and was always very proud of his service. After retiring from the military, Bernie continued in his civilian life with a career in law enforcement rising to the position of U.S. Marshal, a Presidential appointment.
A private graveside service for Bernie will be held. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to a veterans charity or any charity of your choice.
