Bethany Faith Kravets passed from this life to her eternal reward August 8th, 2026 in Boston, Massachusetts. She was 37 years old. Bethany was born on January 22nd, 1989 at 1:52 pm in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Why the significant 1:52 pm? Because it was a ‘thing’ between she and her mother. For 37 years her mother would wait until 1:52 pm to tell her Happy Birthday. As she aged and left the home, her mother would wait until 1:52 pm every January 22nd to call her. Just one of those things =).
Bethany received the Holy Ghost at 6 years of age and was baptized in Jesus’ Name in 1995. She loved music, playing the piano and drums. She graduated high school from Newport Christian Academy in 2007, then applied for the Nursing program at Craven Community College; graduating in 2009. Bethany then went on receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Southern New Hampshire University in New Hampshire. Bethany was just one of those people that had more friends than time to spend with those friends. Even as a little girl she would find the lonely kid at camp and go sit with them at the lunch table. She was unchangeably a southern girl; everyone was ma’am or sir, thank you and please, excuse me and I am sorry. Even during her last days at the hospital, she was calling doctors, nurses and staff, ma’am, and sir; apologizing that she was such an inconvenience to them. We would be remiss if we did not mention Bethany’s relationship with her work mates, some of which changed their work schedules to be her attending medical team over the last 10 months. Doctors, Nurses, and Medical Assistants were all a part of Bethany’s inner circle. The family would like to thank the staff at Dana Farber and Brigham & Women’s for their compassion and care for Bethany during her last days.
Bethany met Vladimir Kravets in February 2016, and they married on September 26th, 2019. Bethany very much loved Vlad and Bethany was the center of Vlad’s life. This unlikely union of a southern girl and boy raised on the streets of Boston was one of true happiness and deep love. This love story produced twins: Leya Nicole & Asher Michael born September 8th, 2023.
Bethany leaves behind Vladimir, her beloved husband, Leya Nicole and Asher Michael. Teddy and Beth Erskine, her dad and mom. Sarah Nicole Erskine her sister (deceased), Ted Erskine Jr. - Grandfather, Dorothy Keefer - Grandmother, Sidney and Barbara Zorbaugh (deceased), David & Mayya Kravets – In-Laws, Doug & Anna Segal Bro. & Sis.
