Bette Ann (Berlow) Weisman

Bette Ann (Berlow) Weisman, a sixty-four-year resident of Marblehead, entered into rest Sunday evening, July 19, 2026, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Weisman. Devoted mother of Mitchell Weisman and his wife AnnMarie of Andover, Claudia Rodenstein and her husband Barry of Swampscott, Ross Weisman and his wife Lisa of Paradise Valley, AZ and the late Sheppard Weisman. Cherished grandmother of Jaclyn Rasnic and her husband Michael, Adam Weisman, Michael Weisman and his wife Jodie, Victoria Weisman, Craig Rodenstein and his wife Amy, Douglas Rodenstein and Sydney Tringale and her husband Devin, Reed Weisman and Alexandra Weisman. Adored great grandmother to Jordan and Taylor Rasnic. Dear daughter of the late George and Frances (Winthrop) Berlow.

Bette Ann grew up in Brookline, MA and graduated from Boston University with a degree in music. After college, she worked as a children's piano instructor and then started her family. She was a devoted mother and instilled a strong work ethic to her four children. Each of them attended Northwestern University and three went on to earn Juris Doctor Degrees. Despite her pride in their accomplishments, she often lamented that she would give up all three lawyers for just one doctor.

Bette Ann had a keen wit and magnetic personality. She loved going to lunch with friends and family and became a "legend" at Marblehead's Muffin Shop in her later years. People wanted to be around her, as she was an active listener and always had something interesting to say. Simply put, she was great company.

Bette Ann was fascinated by gemology and fashion. It was her tradition to select a new piece of jewelry on each vacation to always remember that trip. Each piece of her collection would remind her of the people, events and experiences in her life and proved to be very meaningful to her. She was always impeccably dressed, conveying her beauty, grace and elegance.

Most importantly, Bette Ann loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She and Joseph were their biggest supporters. She never missed a game, recital or opportunity to cheer on her family. She basked in their accomplishments and made each of them feel special. She will be sorely missed.

Bette Ann’s graveside service will be held privately.
